Changes in transport movement in Dnipro until January 25

In Dnipro, from January 8 to 25, 2026, temporary changes in public transport movement will be in effect due to the road closure on Dmytro Yavornytskyi Avenue near house No. 82 towards the Central Railway Station. The restrictions are related to restoration work at the metro construction site. This is reported by the 'Dnipro City Council'.

During the road closure, some routes will operate on altered schemes. Buses No. 87B, No. 101A, No. 146B, and No. 157A heading to the railway station will detour the closed section via the following streets:

• Lazaria Globy;

• Starokozatska;

• Stepana Bandery.

The trolleybus route 'B' will temporarily operate on the route: Dmytro Yavornytskyi Avenue – Lazaria Globy Street – Lesya Ukrainka Avenue – 128th Territorial Defense Brigade Street – Dmytro Yavornytskyi Avenue. Access to Vokzalna Square is currently canceled, and the movement will continue according to the existing route.

Closure of Yavornytskyi Avenue in Dnipro: reason for restrictions

Moreover, the movement of private vehicles is temporarily restricted in the indicated area. The city authorities advise drivers to plan their routes in advance considering the changes.

The closure is related to restoration work at the 'Dnipro Metro' facility. The works became necessary due to a significant amount of precipitation and sharp temperature fluctuations, which caused the displacement of loose soil at the construction site.

As a reminder, starting January 1, 2026, a decree from the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development comes into effect, which provides for the introduction of a unified ticket form for all types of transport.
