According to Главком: The 2026 CEV Champions League Final Four will feature a compelling matchup between Ukrainian volleyball stars Yuriy Semenyuk and Oleh Plotnytskyi. The event is scheduled to take place in Turin, Italy, on May 16. This marks a significant achievement for Ukrainian volleyball, showcasing two of its top athletes on Europe's premier club stage.

Players and Their Clubs

Oleh Plotnytskyi, the former captain of the Ukrainian national team, plays for the Italian club Perugia, the current defending Champions League titleholders. Perugia secured their Final Four spot by defeating Las Palmas in the quarterfinals with scores of 3:2 and 3:0. In the decisive second leg, Plotnytskyi contributed 13 points, with 12 coming from attack hits at a 67% success rate and one service ace.

Yuriy Semenyuk, the current captain of the Ukrainian national team, represents the Polish club Projekt Warszawa, which has qualified for the Champions League Final Four for the first time in its history. In the quarterfinals, Projekt Warszawa faced BOGDANKA LUK Lublin. They won the first match 3:1 but lost the second 2:3, advancing on aggregate.

The semifinal matches will be held on Saturday, May 16. The Turkish club Ziraat Bankkart has also qualified for the Final Four. The final participant will be determined on April 2 in a match between the teams Zawiercie and Lube Civitanova.
