According to Главком: A new pair of storks, named Lel and Kvitka, has settled in the village of Leliaky in the Pyriatyn community, taking over a nest previously occupied by Grytsyk and Odarka. The change was documented via 24-hour video surveillance. The male arrived first but did not initially stay overnight. He eventually settled in, began bringing twigs and nesting material, and was later joined by a female. Storks are iconic birds in Ukrainian folklore, often seen as harbingers of spring and symbols of family.

The male's name, Lel, is linked to the village name Leliaky and Slavic mythology, while the female was named Kvitka ("Flower") following local tradition. Despite the new occupants, the previous nest owners could still return. This potential return is due to a delay in the storks' migration in the Balkans, which might lead to a conflict over the nest between the new pair and Grytsyk and Odarka.
