Russian strike on kindergarten in Kharkiv: number of injured has increased
According to glavcom.ua: A Russian strike hit a kindergarten and nearby buildings in the Kharkiv region, leading to an increase in casualties. According to the State Emergency Service, one person died. This information was reported by the publication 'Glavkom'.

Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported that the number of injured from the strike on the kindergarten has risen to ten, including a five-year-old girl. Additionally, a store, a cafe, an office building, and six vehicles were damaged. As a result of the explosions, three fires broke out, the largest of which was in the kindergarten building covering an area of 500 square meters. At the time of the shelling, there were 48 children inside, who were quickly evacuated.
About 60 emergency responders, 13 units of State Emergency Service equipment, psychologists, pyrotechnicians, dog handlers, police officers, medical personnel, volunteers, and utility services are involved in eliminating the consequences of the Russian attack. The fires have already been extinguished, but emergency rescue operations continue.
The Russian Ministry of Defense released a statement explaining that the Russian government is repelling strikes from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and launching strikes on Ukrainian territory in response to attacks by Ukrainian forces on civilian objects in Russia. Previously, strikes in Kharkiv had resulted in the death of one man, but the children from the kindergarten managed to avoid tragedy by taking cover.
As a result of the Russian strike on the kindergarten and nearby buildings in Kharkiv, significant damage occurred, increasing the number of injured to ten people. One person was killed in the attack. Local authorities and rescue services are actively working to mitigate the consequences and are ready to assist all affected.
