These seasonal markets in Kyiv signal the start of the summer period, traditionally linked to the harvest and a broader assortment of fresh produce. They offer local producers a platform to showcase their goods, supporting the local economy. Given ongoing security threats, organizers emphasize the importance of adhering to safety measures, a key concern for both residents and visitors to the capital.
As the seasonal markets prepare to welcome visitors this weekend, it's worth noting that earlier in May, Kyiv also hosted food fairs offering significant discounts.
