According to Главком: In the early hours of June 28, the Russian military launched an assault on Kyiv using ballistic missiles and drones. The strike targeted the Darnytskyi district, where bomb disposal experts recovered a live missile warhead that had landed close to a residential apartment building. Residents of the building reported the dangerous find, enabling police to quickly evacuate people and cordon off the area.

Details of the Attack

Police specialists and rescue workers carried out operations to extract the missile warhead, which was dug out of the ground. The hazardous item was then transported to a training ground for destruction. One person was injured as a result of the attack.

According to reports, the enemy carried out the assault using:

• two Zircon/Onyx anti-ship missiles launched from Russia's Kursk region,
• six Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles fired from Russia's Bryansk region.

Additionally, 142 attack drones were recorded, including Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas models, as well as decoy drones of the Parody type. These were launched from Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, and Prymorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, as well as from Donetsk and Hvardiiske in Crimea.
