In Kyiv, an air raid alert lasted for almost an hour and a half due to a drone attack
According to glavcom.ua: An air raid alert sounded in Kyiv and several regions of Ukraine on the evening of July 12 due to the threat of strike drones. The alert was announced at 17:24 when enemy drones were detected in the Chernihiv region heading towards the Kyiv region.
“UAVs north of Kyiv, heading west,” military officials reported as of 17:26.
The air raid alert also occurred in Chernihiv, Sumy, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kyiv, Kherson, Kirovohrad, and Zhytomyr regions. Air defense forces are operating in the region against enemy UAVs.
Incidents during the attack
In Lviv, Mytropolita Andrei Street and Yelena Stepanivna were damaged by drone strikes, but there is no information about casualties or injuries. Currently, a private house has been destroyed and other buildings and vehicles damaged in Lviv as a result of the Russian strike. In the Railway District, the roof of a non-residential building was on fire, and the contact network was disrupted. The Elektron enterprise was also affected by enemy shelling.
Shelling was also observed in Lutsk, resulting in damage to a private house and broken windows in many homes. In the city of Chernivtsi, two people died as a result of the Russian military attack, 14 more were injured, and civilian infrastructure suffered significant damage.
As a result of the threat posed by strike drones, an air raid alert was declared in several regions of Ukraine. Cities such as Lviv, Lutsk, and Chernivtsi were affected by drone strikes, where buildings were destroyed and local infrastructure was damaged. Emergency services and military personnel are actively working at the scene to ensure the safety of citizens.
