According to Главком: An explosion and subsequent fire erupted in a high-rise building on Mykoly Mikhnovskoho Boulevard in Kyiv’s Pechersk district on June 24. The blast was caused by a malfunctioning backup power source that had been operating in emergency mode. The explosion occurred in a ground-floor apartment used as an office space, with the shockwave shattering windows and damaging the balcony.

Emergency services were alerted at 08:23, and firefighters managed to extinguish the blaze by 08:51. The fire covered an area of 25 square meters. Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported. Law enforcement officers were on the scene, carrying out necessary safety measures.
