According to Прокуратура Київ: A tragic incident occurred in Kyiv - a man beat a passerby to death over a remark. After an untimely comment from the man about rude communication with a girl, the accused started a conflict during which he inflicted serious bodily harm on the victim. The next day, the victim died in the hospital from the injuries sustained.

The crime was solved by investigators of the Dnipro District Police Department of the National Police in Kyiv, and the accused received 8 years in prison for murder.
