A monument to the people's artist Vitaliy Bilonozhko was unveiled at Baykove Cemetery in Kyiv
On April 22 in Kyiv, a ceremony took place at Baykove Cemetery to unveil a monument to the people's artist of Ukraine Vitaliy Bilonozhko. Relatives, colleagues, and friends gathered to honor his memory. This was reported by GORDON.

The artist's widow, singer Svitlana Bilonozhko, and family members attended the unveiling. Representatives of the creative community and public figures were also present at the ceremony.
Among those present were journalist Dmytro Gordon and the editor-in-chief of the website Olesya Batsman, artists Pavlo Zibrov and Alla Kudlai.
Also participating in the event were composer Oleksandr Zlotnyk, actors Olha Sumska and Vitaliy Borysyuk, and singer Tetiana Piskaryova.
Besides this, Lieutenant General Vasyl Krutov and football player and coach Oleksiy Mykhailychenko were at the ceremony.

Vitaliy Bilonozhko: What is known about the artist
Vitaliy Bilonozhko performed for many years with his wife Svitlana Bilonozhko. The couple was married for 47 years and co-founded the family festival “Melody of Two Hearts”.
The artist's family includes two sons, a grandson, and a granddaughter. Vitaliy Bilonozhko passed away on January 9, 2024, at the age of 70. The cause of death was heart failure. According to his wife, the artist had diabetes and was hospitalized the day before due to a deterioration in his condition.
It is worth noting that Ukrainian singer Svitlana Bilonozhko congratulated her granddaughter Svitlana on her birthday. She published a corresponding post on Facebook.
