According to Главком: Kyiv's municipal road authorities have announced partial traffic restrictions on several bridges, overpasses, and streets from March 26 to April 1, 2026, due to scheduled repair work. The Kyivavtoshliakhmist municipal enterprise and the Shevchenkivskyi District's Municipal Utilities Department will carry out the repairs. The Kyivavtodor municipal corporation released the details of the planned restrictions.

Repair Work Schedule

The traffic restrictions will commence on March 26. Work is scheduled for that day on:

• The Northern Bridge;
• the overpass on Nadniprianske Highway over the railway tracks.

On the following day, March 27, repair work will continue on:

• The Northern Bridge;
• the overpass at the intersection of Nadniprianske Highway and Budindustrii Street.

Restrictions will be in effect on March 28 at:

• The Northern Bridge;
• the overpass over the railway tracks on Mykoly Vasylenka Street;
• the bridge over the Lybid River on Stolytshne Highway.

From March 29, traffic will be limited on:

• The Northern Bridge;
• the bridge over the Lybid River on Stolytshne Highway.

Adverse weather conditions may lead to changes or extensions of the repair timelines. These works are part of a broader national effort to restore Ukraine's transportation network. Since the start of 2026, over 1 million square meters of road damage have been repaired across Ukraine, the highest volume in the past six years. The government has allocated 3 billion UAH from its reserve fund for road works, and the 2026 national budget earmarks 12.6 billion UAH for road repair and maintenance.
