Tram services No. 14 and No. 15 suspended in Kyiv until August 14

In Kyiv, from August 12 to August 14, the tram services No. 14 and No. 15 will be temporarily suspended. The restrictions will be in effect daily from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM due to track repairs on Tabirna and Dehtyarivska streets. This information is reported by the Kyiv City State Administration.

Tram services No. 14 and No. 15 in Kyiv: when will the restrictions apply

Trams on both routes will not operate during the day on August 12, 13, and 14. Before 9:30 AM and after 5:00 PM, services will operate on regular routes unless "Kyivpastrans" announces additional changes.

The reason for the restrictions is the repair of the tram tracks on Tabirna and Dehtyarivska streets. Passengers using routes No. 14 and No. 15 are advised to consider these changes when planning their trips.

During the repair period, the city will also increase the number of trams on route No. 18, which connects Contract Square with Starovokzalna Street through Podil and Lukyanivka.

Bus No. 14-TK: what route will it take

A temporary bus No. 14-TK will operate to transport passengers. It will run between Otradny Avenue and the Lukyanivska metro station, partially duplicating the suspended tram routes.

Towards Lukyanivka, the bus will travel along Otradny Avenue, Vaclav Havel Boulevard, and the streets of Mykola Vasylenko, Dehtyarivska, Mytrofan Dovnar-Zapolsky, and Belarusian until Lukyanivska Square.

In the opposite direction, the route will pass through Lukyanivska Square, Dehtyarivska Street, Mykola Vasylenko Street, Vaclav Havel Boulevard, and Otradny Avenue.

The completion of the repairs and the restoration of regular services may depend on the progress of the work. According to the published schedule, trams are expected to return to full service after 5:00 PM on August 14.

As a reminder, on the night of August 5, Russia carried out a massive strike on Ukraine, specifically targeting the capital region. As a result of attacks in Kyiv Oblast, 14 people died, including eight passengers waiting for a train at the Tsvitok station in the Brovary district.
