Large cucumbers can be bought for 50 hryvnias per kilogram, while substandard ones are offered at 30 hryvnias per kilogram. Vendors predict further price decreases for cucumbers as warmer weather sets in and the harvest reaches its peak.

Over the past week, the cost of fresh green peas has dropped nearly threefold: just a week ago, they were selling for 600 hryvnias per kilogram.
