Traffic Restrictions in Kyiv

According to Главком: On June 11, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, access to the transport interchange at Naberezhne Highway from the Metro Bridge in Kyiv's Pechersk District will be partially restricted. This measure is due to repairs on the wheel guard rail, limiting traffic to a single lane. Residents of the capital are advised to factor these restrictions into their route planning.

Additionally, extensive roadwork continues along the Borshchahivka direction. Traffic limitations will also affect a key overpass at the intersection of Kiltseva Road and Lesya Kurbas Avenue, with work scheduled through July 5. Meanwhile, a major overhaul of Mіska Street, initiated back in March, is still underway. On this stretch, plans include not only resurfacing but also a significant boost to traffic capacity. Road crews have already laid over 600 meters of new, larger-diameter storm drainage, and they are currently preparing the road base for upcoming asphalt paving.

Pedestrian Access Restrictions

Furthermore, pedestrian movement will be restricted on the bridge at the intersection of Beresteiskyi Avenue and Kiltseva Road until September 15. These traffic changes and repairs are aimed at improving the capital's road infrastructure.

The traffic restrictions on key sections of Kyiv signal an intensification of efforts to enhance road infrastructure, a crucial aspect for ensuring the safety and convenience of travel for both residents and visitors to the capital.

Despite the temporary inconveniences, the completion of these works is intended to increase traffic capacity and reduce the likelihood of future congestion.

As roadwork progresses in various areas of the city, including a significant project on Mіska Street, it's crucial for residents to stay informed about ongoing traffic changes. For example, similar restrictions are currently in place on Zodchykh Street, where repairs are affecting vehicle flow. Staying updated on these developments will help commuters plan their routes more effectively and avoid delays.
