In Kyiv, trams will change routes for a week due to repairs: details

In Kyiv, from November 17 to 21, four tram routes will operate on different schemes due to track repairs on Kyrylivska Street. The city administration has already published detailed changes. This is reported by the Kyiv City State Administration.

How the main routes will change

On weekdays from 10:00 to 17:00, trams No. 11, 12, and 16 will operate on a shortened route – from Yordanska Street, Pushcha-Vodytsia, and the Heroes of Dnipro station to Semen Skliarenka Street. Kyivpastrans notes that the updated schemes show detours, closed sections, and available stops.

Route No. 19 will temporarily operate only between the Contract Square and Spartak Stadium stop. During the repairs, a full scheme showing stops and directions will be in effect.

Temporary duplicate

To ensure communication between Contract Square and Taras Shevchenko Square, the city launches a temporary bus No. 19-T.

Its directions are as follows:

• forward: Spaska Street → Mezhyhirskaya → Shchekavytska → Kostyantynivska → Olenivska → Kyrylivska → Syretska → Semen Skliarenka → Avtozavodska → Polyarnaya → Taras Shevchenko Square;
• reverse: Taras Shevchenko Square → Polyarnaya → Avtozavodska → Semen Skliarenka → Syretska → Kyrylivska → Shchekavytska → Kostyantynivska → Spaska → Contract Square.

Kyivpastrans apologizes for the temporary inconveniences and asks passengers to plan their trips in advance considering the repair works.
