Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and neither vehicle sustained damage. A special police operation was launched to track down the suspect, who fled the scene.

Other Shooting Incidents
This event is part of a broader pattern of gun-related conflicts on the capital’s roads:
- On May 2, shots were fired near the Respublika shopping mall in Kyiv’s Holosiiv District following a dispute between drivers.
- In another case in the Darnytskyi District, a driver shot a pedestrian who was crossing the road outside a designated crosswalk. The victim sustained injuries to the leg and back.
These road-related shootings highlight growing tensions among drivers in Kyiv, likely reflecting broader social strain. Authorities emphasize the need for improved road safety, as such incidents raise public concern. Swift arrests and thorough investigations are critical steps in curbing future road violence.
This recent incident is not isolated, as the Kyiv police initiated a special operation following another shooting in the Sviatoshyn District just days earlier. Such occurrences indicate a troubling trend of escalating road rage incidents in the city, prompting authorities to take urgent measures to enhance public safety and prevent future violence.
