Transport traffic restrictions in Kyiv
У Києві введено обмеження руху в двох районах, починаючи з 5 березня.

Traffic Restrictions Planned for Kyiv

According to Главком: Kyiv's municipal road service, Kyivavtodor, has announced partial traffic restrictions in the Podilskyi and Dniprovskyi districts, effective March 5. The measures are necessary to facilitate urgent road and infrastructure repairs, including work on damaged road surfaces. These planned improvements are a critical step in enhancing road safety for all users.

Separately, changes to public electric transport routes will be implemented a day earlier, starting March 4, at the intersection of Ronald Reagan and Honoré de Balzac streets. Furthermore, until March 20, traffic on Andriia Malyshka Street in the Dniprovskyi district will be partially limited for repairs to the stormwater drainage system.

Scope of the Repair Work

The repair operations will also affect the following locations:

  • Ivana Vyhovskyi Street – from the European Union Avenue in the direction of Viktor Nekrasov Street;
  • Vyshhorodska Street – from Mostytska Street to European Union Avenue.

It is important to note that the schedule for this work is subject to change if weather conditions deteriorate.

The planned repairs aim to improve road infrastructure, which is a vital step for ensuring traffic safety.

These restrictions are likely to impact the daily commutes of Kyiv residents, who should account for the changes when planning trips in the affected areas. Kyiv continues to prioritize infrastructure maintenance despite the ongoing challenges of wartime, making such updates essential for public awareness.
