According to Главком: A fresh loyalty initiative has launched in Kyiv, offering taxpaying drivers parking subscriptions with discounts reaching 90%. The program operates through the Kyiv Digital app, which automatically verifies a user's status by connecting to a secure data exchange gateway with the State Tax Service.

Anyone contributing taxes to Kyiv's budget is eligible for the discount, including:

• Salaried employees
• Individual entrepreneurs (FOPs)
• Property owners

Even a minimal tax payment qualifies a person for the offer. To confirm their taxpayer status, users simply log in via Diia or BankID, with verification typically taking up to two hours.

Benefits of the New System

The parking subscriptions work on a monthly plan basis and cover various locations across the capital. Starting April 27, Kyiv also updated its hourly parking rates, which now range from 10 to 40 UAH per hour depending on the zone.

Kostiantyn Usov stated: 'We built a secure data exchange gateway. Even if a person paid a symbolic amount of taxes, they are already considered a taxpayer and can take advantage of this offer.'

This new driver loyalty system in Kyiv could significantly improve parking affordability for residents, encouraging them to meet their tax obligations. It may also boost city budget revenues by motivating more people to register as taxpayers.
