Electric transport launched in Kyiv on the Left Bank
In Kyiv, electric transport is gradually resuming operations on the Left Bank. The operation of trams and trolleybuses is being restored after the situation in the energy system improved. Some routes began to operate again on March 3. This is reported by the Kyiv City State Administration.
The capital's department of transport infrastructure reported that the restoration is happening step by step. Several tram and trolleybus routes returned to the line first, as well as routes connecting both banks of the Dnieper.
Kyiv Electric Transport: routes that resumed on March 3
As of March 3, partial service has been restored for the following routes:

trams №№ 4, 5, 22, 23, 27, 28, 29, 32, 33, 35;
-
trolleybuses №№ 29, 30, 31, 37 (with changes), 43, 47, 50, 50-K.
At the same time, substitute buses continue to operate temporarily on the routes. They replace electric transport where the restoration of service is still gradual.
Kyiv Transport: when electric transport will operate in normal mode
The city administration noted that starting March 4, electric transport on the Left Bank may return to the standard schedule. This will happen provided that the energy infrastructure does not suffer new damages.
In case of stable operation of the energy system:
-
trams and trolleybuses will operate according to the usual schedule

the release of transport will meet planned indicators
-
substitute bus routes will be canceled.
City authorities add that residents of the capital will be separately informed about any possible further changes in the operation of public transport.
Earlier, Kyiv resumed electric transport on the Right Bank.
