In Kyiv, seven routes changed due to damage to the Northern Bridge: how transport operates
On November 7, the operation of seven public transport routes in Kyiv changed due to damage to the Northern Bridge. Buses have been rerouted through the Podilsky Bridge crossing, some routes have changed their final stops, and route No. 30-TR has been split into two sections. This was reported by the Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA).
Transport routes in Kyiv: temporary schedule as of November 7
Transport that previously operated through the Northern Bridge is running on altered routes. For passengers, the following routes have been introduced:
-
No. 21, No. 73, and No. 101: to the Kontraktova Square metro station.
-
No. 29-TR: from Darnytsia Square to the Kontraktova Square metro station.
-
No. 30-TR: separately from Mylooslavska Street to the Pochaiv metro station via Novokostiantynivska Street and from Kadetskyi Hai Street to the Pochaiv metro station.
-
No. 31-TR: from Mylooslavska Street to the Lukiianivska metro station via Hlybovytska Street, following the route of bus No. 112.
-
No. 47-TR: from the Minsk metro station to the Pochaiv metro station.
Passengers on No. 30-TR should take into account that the route now consists of two separate sections. For travel between Mylooslavska and Kadetskyi Hai Streets, a transfer near Pochaiv is necessary.
These changes supplement previous restrictions on electric transport in the capital. It is important to check the route number and final stop before traveling, as the usual route direction may have changed.
Recovery of the Northern Bridge: when further works will be determined
Specialists are conducting urgent measures to eliminate the consequences of the damage to the Northern Bridge. The further scope of recovery will be determined after the inspection of the structure and the receipt of conclusions from relevant institutions.
When planning the works, the security situation will also be taken into account. The date for the return of transport to normal routes was not mentioned in the KCSA message.
After the nighttime attack on Kyiv, passengers should allow additional time for travel due to detours and possible transfers. The updated movement intervals and estimated travel duration have not been provided by the city authorities at this time.
