Status of Kyiv's Combined Heat and Power Plants

According to ХВИЛЯ: Attacks on Kyiv's energy infrastructure have severely damaged two critical thermal power stations. According to Desnianskyi District Head Maksym Bakhmatov, the CHPP-4 facility has been completely destroyed, while CHPP-6 has sustained damage estimated at 80%.

Bakhmatov outlined the service areas impacted by the destruction of CHPP-6:

• Desnianskyi District
• Obolonskyi District
• Dniprovskyi District
• Parts of Darnytskyi District

The now-destroyed CHPP-4 provided heating services for:

• Dniprovskyi District
• Darnytskyi District
