Kyiv City Military Administration announced this on Telegram. The attack came overnight into August 5 and was large-scale. For international observers, it is another reminder that Russian strikes continue to target civilian infrastructure in Ukraine's cities.

Russian forces targeted several Ukrainian regions using 115 Shahed-type attack drones, decoy drones, and 28 ballistic missiles. Despite the efforts of air-defense units, not a single ballistic missile was intercepted. The main targets were warehouses owned by civilian companies, and the result was widespread destruction.

The Rozetka warehouse complex in Brovary was destroyed, along with a Nova Poshta sorting center in Kyiv. No casualties were reported at Rozetka, but at the Nova Poshta site three people died and eight more were injured. Epicentr's production and logistics facilities were also damaged, killing one employee and wounding three others. Because of the destruction, Epicentr is suspending ceramic tile production and moving it to alternative facilities.

In addition, logistics warehouses used by Puma, Intertop, and Toyota were destroyed. No workers were harmed at those sites, but large amounts of goods were lost. Overall, the August 5 attack caused numerous casualties and serious material damage.
