In Kropyvnytskyi, the number of buses was reduced from September 28 due to diesel problems
On Monday, September 28, a limited number of buses entered the routes of Kropyvnytskyi: due to the rising price of diesel, the city was unable to procure fuel in time. On several routes, only one vehicle will serve passengers. Earlier in the city, the number of transport vehicles was already reduced due to a shortage of workers.
This was reported by the Kropyvnytskyi City Council.
Buses in Kropyvnytskyi on September 28: how many vehicles operate on the routes
According to Viktor Zhitnyk, head of the transportation and communication department of the city council, suppliers are reluctant to participate in procurements due to the unstable rise in diesel prices. Two tenders for fuel procurement did not take place.
Deputy Mayor Oleksandr Verhun explained that the municipal enterprise 'Electrotrans' temporarily used its own reserves and assistance from other city enterprises, but these resources have been exhausted. Negotiations with suppliers are ongoing. The city council hopes to restore full refueling of buses within two to three days.
On the bus routes on September 28, the following buses were out:

Kropyvnytskyi trolleybuses will replace part of the buses on three routes
Three routes are served by trolleybuses with autonomous operation. Two vehicles that go to Bohdan Khmelnytsky Square ran on route №116. There is one and two trolleybuses operating on routes №118 and №274 respectively.
Passengers are advised to take the reduction of buses into account when planning trips. The changes are happening against the backdrop of other issues with urban transportation, including a shortage of drivers and conductors.
