In Kropyvnytskyi, free travel cards began to be issued from September 2: where to get them

In Kropyvnytskyi, the issuance of personalized transportation cards for people entitled to free travel started on September 2, 2026. There are nearly 80 thousand eligible individuals in the community, and the transition to the new system will last until March 1, 2027. This is reported by Suspline Kropyvnytskyi.

The city has already received the first 20 thousand cards, and another 60 thousand are planned to be produced later. 30 workstations have been created for processing and issuance, and 85 employees have been trained.

The executive committee has identified 26 categories of residents who are entitled to free travel. Among them are participants in combat actions, elderly pensioners, individuals with disabilities of all groups, children from large families, military veterans, and law enforcement officers.

Eligible individuals must be registered in the Kropyvnytskyi city territorial community, as well as internally displaced persons who are registered here.

«In total, 85 employees have been prepared to issue cards», - said the director of the social and veteran policy department of the city council, Yulia Vovk.

During the first issuance, the card is provided free of charge. It can be obtained by the eligible person or their legal representative. During the application process, the employee takes a photo of the future cardholder.

To obtain the card, it is necessary to provide a passport, tax identification number, proof of residence or IDP certificate, and a document confirming entitlement to the benefit. For children under 14 years of age, a birth certificate is required. A mobile phone number must also be provided.

Cards are issued at the CNAP «Transparent Office» located at 41/26 Architect Pauchanko Street, the social protection department at 11 Academician Korolev Street, and the veterans affairs department at 53/39 Architect Pauchanko Street.

Issuance will also be available in housing maintenance organizations No. 1, No. 2, No. 3, No. 4, and No. 9. Their addresses and operating schedules will be announced separately.
