Traffic partially restricted on Voli Avenue in Lutsk: changes in routes
In Lutsk, from June 8, traffic will be partially restricted on Voli Avenue due to emergency restoration work on the stormwater drainage system. Due to the closure of one of the city's central streets, the routes of several buses and trolleybuses will change. This was announced by the Secretary of the Lutsk City Council, Kateryna Shklyoda.
Closure of Voli Avenue in Lutsk
Traffic will be prohibited on the section of Voli Avenue from the intersection with Chopin Street to the intersection with Parkova Street.
The city council explained that the restrictions are related to emergency restoration work on the stormwater drainage system.
No timeline for the completion of repairs has been provided yet. Traffic on the section will be restored after the completion of the work.
Which bus routes will change
Due to the closure, the traffic patterns of buses No. 1, No. 2, No. 5, No. 10, No. 11, No. 12, No. 25, No. 30, and No. 31 have been altered.
The main detour routes will pass through Hlushets, Parkova, Slovatskoho, Bohdana Khmelnytskoho, Rivnenska, and Viddrodzhennia Avenue.
For some routes, the changes will apply in both directions, while for specific buses, adjustments will only affect the outbound or return trip.
How trolleybuses will operate
Trolleybus routes No. 1, No. 2, No. 3, No. 5, and No. 15 have also been temporarily modified.
Depending on the route, transportation will operate through Hlushets, Avtoremontna, Rivnenska, Parkova, Vynnychenka, and Viddrodzhennia Avenue.
City authorities urge passengers to check the current traffic schemes in advance and take potential delays into account when planning trips.
It is worth noting that as of June 1, updated trolleybus schedules have been in effect in the Lutsk territorial community. Passengers are advised to check the schedule before trips and to use online transport tracking services.
