According to glavcom.ua: During the night air raid on July 9, when Russian troops were shelling Lutsk, the shelter of the Cathedral of All Saints of Volyn, belonging to the UOC MP, refused entry to people with their pets. This story was told by local resident Irina Khaslam on Facebook, and the press secretary of the Volyn diocese, Viktor Anipko, confirmed this information in a comment for Zaxid.net, reports 'Hlavkom'.

Khaslam noted that during the shelling, people with cats and dogs were standing outside the cathedral, but they were not allowed to enter the shelter. Thus, people left their pets to endure the danger on the steps.

«It seems that the temple should be a place where the doors are open for everyone in difficult times. But at the entrance, we were met by a guard with a prohibitive sign: «No entry with pets», – she wrote.

The press secretary of the Volyn diocese, Archpriest Viktor Anipko, confirmed that people with pets were indeed not allowed to enter the church's shelter due to church rules. In this case, they were allowed to leave their pets near the entrance and descend into the shelter themselves.

For his part, the temple's rector, Volodymyr Yatsyshyn, called Khaslam's information false and stated that people were trying to enter the church building with pets, which is prohibited, but they were allowed to stay in the corridor and shelter.

During the shelling of Lutsk by Russian troops, people with their pets were not allowed into the shelter of the Cathedral of All Saints of Volyn due to church rules. At the same time, the temple's rector claims that it is allowed to stay in the shelter but not in the church building.
