According to glavcom.ua: A symbolic 'Flag of Hope' has appeared near the main building of Lviv Polytechnic. At the university's request, the flag was provided by the team of the 'Maria City' project. The flag will hang until all Ukrainians are freed from captivity. This was reported by 'Glavkom', referencing Lviv Polytechnic.

The 'Flag of Hope' is an initiative by veteran Serhiy 'Volyn' Volynskyi, launched in 2024. Its two stripes have a special meaning: the black one reminds us of pain, captivity, and loss, while the white one gives hope for return, freedom, and a bright future.

The flag serves as a constant reminder of Ukrainian prisoners of war and those missing during the Russo-Ukrainian war, symbolizing the strength and resilience of the nation's spirit.
