Traffic Changes in Lviv on July 30 Due to the Aftermath of the Russian Missile Strike

After the nighttime Russian missile strike in Lviv, part of Paton Street was closed, and the routes of buses and trolleybuses were changed. Trolleybus No. 23 has partially resumed operation, while route No. 30 is currently not in service. This is reported by the Lviv City Council.

Which Buses in Lviv Changed Their Routes on July 30

Due to the aftermath of the shelling, Paton Street remains closed from Ryashivska Street to Vygovskogo Street. The restrictions affected the routes connecting this area with the city center and other neighborhoods.

Buses are detouring via Kulparkivska, Sadova, and Lyubinska streets:

• No. 11, 14, 16, 18, 23, 25, 27, 33, and 48;

• No. 51 towards the shopping center is passing through Lyubinska, Sadova, and Kulparkivska.

In the opposite direction, bus No. 51 travels along Kulparkivska without stopping at Symon Petliura Street, Lyubinska, and Okrugna. Passengers are advised to allow extra travel time, especially during trips in the Paton, Vygovskogo, and Kulparkivska areas.

Trolleybus No. 23 in Lviv Has Resumed Part of Its Route

Trolleybus No. 23 is back in operation, but only on the stretch from the bus station to the Kulparkivska, Volodymyr the Great roundabout. The full route has not been restored yet due to the road closures on Paton Street.

Trolleybus No. 30 is temporarily out of service. Earlier in the morning, movement on No. 23 was also stopped, but after adjustments to the route, it was partially returned to service.

Traffic on Vygovskogo Street After the Russian Strike

Vygovskogo Street, which was closed in the section from Shchyretska Street to the Kulparkivska, Volodymyr the Great roundabout, has been reopened for traffic since the morning. At the same time, the transportation situation in the area may change due to the work of emergency and utility services.

On the night of July 30, Russia launched a missile strike on Lviv. The most damage was recorded on Paton and Vygovskogo streets, where rescue and recovery operations are ongoing.
