Road Closure on Paton Street in Lviv Extended: How Transport is Operating

The road closure on Paton Street has been extended in Lviv from Vihovskyi to Ryashivska. Rescuers are still working in building No. 25, which was damaged due to a Russian attack. As a result, buses and trolleys are operating on temporary routes. This is reported by Tvoe Misto.

Paton Street Closure in Lviv Continues

Traffic is closed for both private cars and public transport. Residents are asked not to plan routes through the section of Paton Street between Vihovskyi and Ryashivska while rescue operations continue.

Restrictions were implemented after a massive Russian missile strike on Lviv on July 30. At that time, strikes were recorded in residential buildings on Paton and Vihovskyi streets.

The city authorities have not specified when traffic will resume. The transport scheme remains the same as it was before.

How Transport is Operating in Lviv During Paton Closure

Buses No. 14, 21, 27, 48, and 92 are running in both directions along Horodotska and Vihovskyi streets. Passengers should be aware of possible delays due to increased traffic on these highways.

Trolleybus No. 23 is operating on a shortened route:

• «Bus Station»

• Kulparkivska St.

• Volodymyra Velykoho St.

Trolleybus No. 30 is operating on a circular route: «University», Kulparkivska, Vihovskyi, Liubinska, «University».

Passengers are advised to check the actual transport movements in applications or on electronic boards before departing. Routes will return to normal after the works are completed and Paton Street is reopened.
