The All-Ukrainian High Jump Championships "O. Demyanyuk Memorial" will be held in Lviv

According to Федерація Легкої Атлетики: The All-Ukrainian High Jump Championships "O. Demyanyuk Memorial" are scheduled to take place in Lviv on January 17, 2026. The competition will be held at the Lviv State University of Physical Culture, located at Cheremshyny Street, 17. Teams will arrive in Lviv on January 16, when a mandate commission will also take place.

Participation Conditions and Awards

Applications for participation in the competition will be accepted until January 9, 2026. The competition is scheduled to take place from 09:00 to 18:00. The participants of the competition will be:

• men and women (by invitation);
• boys and girls born in 2009-2012 and younger, who have qualifications from the I adult and III youth categories.

An important condition for participation is the availability of an I RUN CLEAN certificate.

The winners and prize-winners of the competition will be awarded medals. In the men's and women's categories, cash prizes will be awarded for achieving the standard of Master of Sports of Ukraine. Every day at 09:00, participants of the competition will honor the memory of those who died as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation with a moment of silence.

These competitions will not only promote the development of athletics in Ukraine but will also be an important event to honor the memory of O. Demyanyuk, emphasizing the significance of sports in national culture. The participation of young athletes, as well as cash prizes for achievements, will stimulate an increase in the level of competition and the popularity of sports among the youth. Honoring the memory of those who died as a result of aggression also demonstrates the social responsibility of the organizers and participants of the competition during this challenging time for the country.
