Nationwide Forum on Social Change Leadership 2.0 Takes Place in Lviv
According to Пенсії (RSS): On November 5, 2026, Lviv became the venue for the Nationwide Forum on Social Change Leadership 2.0, organized by Ukraine's Ministry of Social Policy, Family, and Unity. The event gathered over 400 participants, including Denis Ulyutin, the Minister of Social Policy, Family, and Unity, and Yevhen Kapinus, Chairman of the Board of the Pension Fund of Ukraine. Representatives from regional military administrations, executive authorities, and local governments also actively contributed to the discussions.
Key Focus Areas of the Forum
The forum served as a platform to explore crucial topics such as advancing social protection systems, ensuring timely responses to citizens' needs, and strengthening collaboration between government bodies, communities, and the civil sector. A teleconference with Unity Centers was held during the event, where Halyna Nedzelska, head of the Lviv Regional Branch of the Pension Fund, shared insights on the Unity Hub operating in Berlin.
Halyna Nedzelska noted: 'Between April 15 and August 7, approximately 1,100 individuals sought assistance at the hub, receiving around 1,700 services.'
The most common inquiries from citizens involved:
- pension assignment and recalculation,
- resumption of payments,
- digitalization of employment records,
- undergoing physical identification procedures.
Since August 10, the hub has continued offering services remotely.
This forum highlights the critical role of cooperation among various state and local institutions and the need to modernize social protection to meet current challenges. The high volume of requests at the Berlin Unity Hub underscores the demand for such services and the importance of expanding similar initiatives. These developments reflect an increasing focus on social issues in Ukraine, which is vital for maintaining social stability and supporting the population amid ongoing transitions.
As discussions on social protection intensify, it's essential to consider the recent developments in legislation affecting the rights of displaced persons. The 4th National Forum of IDP Councils in Lviv provided a critical platform for reviewing updated laws that address the challenges faced by internally displaced individuals. This ongoing dialogue underscores the interconnectedness of social policies and the necessity for comprehensive support systems across the nation.
