Lviv has recorded another temperature record, this time for the minimum value. On the night of July 5, 2025, the minimum air temperature was +5.7°C. This was reported by

"Glavkom"

citing the Lviv Regional Center for Hydrometeorology.

The coldest night in the last 51 years

The temperature recorded has set a new record, surpassing the previous minimum for this date, which had stood since 1974 at +8.1°C. Thus, the night of July 5 became the coldest in Lviv in the last 51 years.

Let us remind you that today, July 5, variable cloudiness is expected in Ukraine, with light brief rains possible in some regions. This was reported by "Glavkom" referencing the "Ukrhydrometcenter".

In the northern and central regions, brief rains and thunderstorms are expected, as well as possible hail and wind gusts of 15-20 m/s. The air temperature at night will range from 13 to 18°C, with cooler conditions of 9-14°C expected in the west of the country, while during the day, temperatures will rise to 23-28°C, and in the southern region, temperatures at night will range from 16 to 21°C, rising to 28-33°C during the day.

The wind will be predominantly northwestern at a speed of 7-12 m/s.

Lviv is the national point where a record low temperature was recorded at night, while variable weather with brief rains and thunderstorms is expected across the central regions of Ukraine. Relatively high temperature indicators are also expected in some regions of the country during the day.
