New route in Mykolaiv: why the city needed a trolleybus
The launch of the route was a response to numerous appeals from residents of the Kazarsky microdistrict. People complained about transport issues, particularly the unstable operation of minibus No. 89.
Among the main problems voiced by residents:
-
irregular transport movements
-
difficulty getting home after 6:00 PM
-
lack of alternative routes
The city council decided to strengthen transport links precisely through municipal transport.
In Mykolaiv, the electric transport network is gradually expanding to reduce dependence on private carriers and ensure stable transport in different areas of the city.
Let us remind you that the initiative to make travel on Mykolaiv's public transport free received support from the management of KP "Mykolaivpastrans", but with an important condition - only with guaranteed reimbursement of costs from the city budget.
