According to Главком: A Russian 'Gerbera'-type drone, approximately 2.5 meters in length, was discovered in Moldova's Telenești District on January 17. Moldova's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has condemned the incident, labeling it a threat to national security, though the drone was not found to be carrying explosives. The Ministry stated such violations of its airspace are unacceptable.

Moldovan authorities emphasized that Russia's ongoing aggressive war against Ukraine directly endangers the security of Moldovan citizens.
