Hero of Ukraine Andriy Koshovets: how a sapper neutralized over 800 explosive devices

According to МВС: The new issue of the project 'Heroes' tells the story of the Hero of Ukraine, senior sapper of the pyrotechnic division Andriy Koshovets.

Andriy joined the State Emergency Service in 2019 after serving in the military under contract and as a volunteer in the ATO zone since 2015. He participated in the most challenging direction in Donetsk - Pokrovsk, where he was injured due to an explosion. After recovering, he returned to service and continues to fulfill his duties. He has neutralized 124 artillery shells, 28 mortar mines, 11 grenades, and 635 other explosive devices.

Currently, the master sergeant works in the 11th State Fire and Rescue Unit in Chernobyl, where he and his colleagues engage in demining areas in Kyiv region and eliminating the consequences of enemy shelling.
