In Novovolynsk, free public transport will be available on August 30
On Sunday, August 30, residents and guests of Novovolynsk will be able to use public transport for free. The free travel mode will be implemented starting at 16:00 in connection with the celebration of City Day, the 70th anniversary of Blahodatne, and Coal Miners' Day. This was reported by the Novovolynsk City Council.
Free travel will be available, in particular, on bus route No. 1, as well as on route No. 284, which connects Novovolynsk with Blahodatne.
The city council noted that this opportunity for residents has been implemented for the second year in a row. This is intended to allow a larger number of people to attend festive and charitable events in both populated areas.
What is planned for City Day in Novovolynsk
The festive program in Novovolynsk will begin in the morning. There will be fishing competitions and the opening of the second stage of the Ukrainian Motocross Championship.
The main part of the events will start after lunch. From 17:00, themed spaces, food courts, a fair, and children's areas will be set up near the city lake.
At 18:00, the concert program will begin. At 21:00, a performance by Ukrainian musician Oleksandr Polozhynskyi is scheduled.
Blahodatne will celebrate its 70th anniversary and Coal Miners' Day
Festive events on August 30 will also take place in Blahodatne. At 16:30, the opening of a memorial plaque for fallen miners is planned, followed by festivities starting at 17:00.
From 18:00, a concert program will take place. The Volyn People's Choir, folk band «Chachka», and bands «Davna Kazka» and «BORA» will perform before the audience.
All events in Novovolynsk and Blahodatne will have a charitable component. During the celebrations, organizers will collect funds to support Ukrainian soldiers.
