Russian Strike on Pavlohrad Claims Four Lives and Injures Over 60, Including Three Children

According to Рубрика — Суспільство: On the night of October 30, a Russian attack targeted the 'Gulliver' shopping center in Pavlohrad, resulting in four fatalities and more than 60 injuries, among them three children aged 13, 14, and 15. The assault ignited a fire that spread to shops, market stalls, and vehicles inside the building. During rescue operations, two emergency responders from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine were wounded and hospitalized.

Preliminary data from the regional prosecutor's office reported three deaths and 34 injuries, including one child. The regional prosecutor’s office is documenting this incident as a war crime and has launched a criminal investigation under Article 438 of the Ukrainian Criminal Code.

Interior Minister Ivan Vyhivskyi revealed that since the beginning of the year, Russian forces have carried out over 18,000 strikes in the Dnipropetrovsk region. These attacks have primarily targeted food storage facilities, residential areas, trains, and shopping centers.

Vyhivskyi emphasized that most of these assaults were conducted using unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) and that recently, attacks on food supply sites and civilian infrastructure have intensified.

Prior to this latest attack, an earlier strike on Pavlohrad had already resulted in two deaths and 18 injuries. This new tragedy highlights the ongoing dangers faced by civilians amid the escalating violence in the region.
