Creation of a Microclinic in Poltava

According to Міністерство Здоров'я: A microclinic for modern prosthetics has been completed in Poltava based on the Poltava Regional Clinical Hospital named after M.V. Sklifosovsky, which is the second such microclinic in Ukraine. This microclinic will specialize in modern prosthetics and rehabilitation for people with amputations, which is an important step in the development of medical services in Ukraine.

The project is being implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the Government of France, and Resilience Orthopedics SAS. The main goal of the project is to create a network of prosthetic microclinics throughout Ukraine. Renovation work in the clinic is already completed, and modern equipment is installed, which will ensure a high level of medical services.

Innovations in Prosthetics

The microclinic has implemented a digitized approach to prosthetics using 3D measurements. Finished prostheses will be manufactured in Lviv, ensuring the availability of quality prostheses for patients. The working room for patients is equipped with 3D scanners and rehabilitation trainers, which will significantly ease the rehabilitation process.

Prosthetists working in the microclinic have undergone specialized training with the participation of French specialists, which will enhance the quality of service delivery. In September this year, a training and production center for prosthetics started operating in Lviv, which will also contribute to the preparation of professionals in this field. Additionally, the launch of a microclinic in Kyiv region is being prepared, indicating the expansion of the network of medical institutions.

The creation of the microclinic is part of the flagship project of the Ministry of Health 'Development of the Rehabilitation Assistance System.' The initiative is also supported by the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, highlighting the importance of developing rehabilitation services for people with disabilities. The opening of this clinic is a significant step toward improving healthcare and rehabilitation in Ukraine.

The establishment of the microclinic in Poltava is an important stage in the development of medical services in Ukraine, especially in the field of rehabilitation and prosthetics. Involvement of international partners and the implementation of modern technologies testify to the country's aspiration to improve the quality of medical services for people with amputations. The expansion of the network of clinics across Ukraine, particularly in Kyiv region, has the potential to significantly improve access to such services for patients in different regions of the country.
