Deferral in Reserve+: who is granted due to parental disability
The 'Reserve+' program has introduced a new opportunity - to obtain a deferral for individuals whose parent has a disability of group I or II. This information was disseminated by the Ministry of Defense referencing 'Glavkom'.
If a military conscript's family has one adult child with a disability and only one parent, it is possible to apply for a deferral through the 'Reserve+' application. To obtain a deferral, a request must be submitted in the application, where the system will automatically verify the data in state registers. If the grounds are confirmed, the deferral will be granted.
How to obtain a deferral online:
- Submit a request in the 'Reserve+' application.
- The system will automatically verify the information in the state registers.
- Once the grounds are confirmed, the deferral is automatically granted, and the information about it will appear in the military document.
We also remind that there is now an opportunity in the 'Reserve+' program to obtain an online deferral for parents who are raising a child alone. This applies in cases where the other parent has died or lost parental rights.
Previously, the government made a decision to automatically extend deferrals, introduce a digital format for processing and allow documents to be submitted through the CNAP. Soon, a photo of the owner will also be indicated in the military document in the 'Reserve+' application.
