The Supreme Court of Russia recognized the Anti-Corruption Foundation Inc., which is a subsidiary of the Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK) of Leonid Navalny, as a 'terrorist organization'. The court's decision was made as part of a broad campaign against the opposition in Russia and its supporters. According to this decision, the organization's leadership, including Leonid Volkov, has received an official notice in the registry of 'terrorist organizations' in Russia.

Leonid Volkov's reaction to this decision was negative, as he noted that further international activities aimed at fighting corruption and raising financial support would be complicated. At the same time, Leonid Volkov emphasized that the court's actions would not stop their activities and fight against corruption in Russia.

According to information, Alexey Navalny, the leader of the Russian opposition, died in a penal colony in February 2021. His death triggered a wide international response, including the imposition of sanctions against Russian officials linked to this tragedy.
