In Vinnytsia, traffic organization and stops will change on one of the main streets by September 1

From July 13 to September 1, the organization of road traffic and the placement of public transport stops will temporarily change in the center of Vinnytsia. The restrictions are related to the repair of the historical pavement on Sobornaya Street and the construction of stormwater drainage. The Vinnytsia City Council reports this.

Traffic on Sobornaya Street in Vinnytsia will change by September 1

Repair work will take place on one of the main streets of the city from July 13 to September 1.

According to the city council, after the completion of work, the historical paving stones will be returned to their place while preserving their authentic pattern.

For private transport, a detour will be organized via:

• Magistratska Street;
• Khmelnytske Shosse;
• Knyaziv Koriatovychiv Street.

Public transport stops in Vinnytsia will be temporarily relocated

The city council emphasizes that the routes of municipal buses, trolleybuses, and marshrutkas will not change. Public transport will continue to operate on Sobornaya Street.

At the same time, the stops "Maidan Nezalezhnosti" will be temporarily relocated.

For transport moving towards the Central Bridge, passenger boarding and alighting will be organized near the intersection of Sobornaya Street and Teatralna Street, next to the Vinnytsia Trade and Economic Institute.

Towards Kalichanska Square, the bus-trolleybus stop will be relocated behind the intersection with Teatralna Street, near the "Troianada" store. A temporary tram stop will also be arranged nearby.

The city council urges passengers to take the changes into account when planning their trips and pay attention to temporary informational signs installed at public transport stops.

Recall that on May 28, at 22:00, an incident occurred at the "Ninth Microdistrict" stop in Vinnytsia, during which a man and a woman attacked a tram driver.
