In Vinnytsia, from June 10 to July 15, temporary traffic restrictions will be introduced on one of the main streets of the city. Due to repair work, direct traffic on part of Soborna will be closed, and a detour scheme will be organized for motorists. Public transport will continue to operate on its usual routes in most cases. This is reported by the Vinnytsia City Council.

Repairs on Soborna in Vinnytsia Will Last More Than a Month

The restrictions will affect the odd side of Soborna Street from Khlibna Street to Teatralna Street. During the repair works, direct traffic here will be completely closed.

For private transport, an alternative route has been provided through Teatralna, Vladyslav Hordytskyi, Khmelnytske Shose and Mahistratska.

The city council notes that the changes are primarily aimed at safely carrying out repairs and minimizing risks for road users.

How Public Transport Will Operate in Vinnytsia Center

Most municipal buses will continue to operate unchanged. This applies to routes No. 4, No. 5, No. 7, No. 11, No. 19, No. 21, No. 24 and No. 32, which will continue to travel along Soborna in both directions.

The movement of trolleybuses with autonomous motion No. 16, No. 20 and No. 22 will also remain unchanged. Trolleybuses No. 4, No. 5, No. 10, No. 11, No. 12, No. 14, No. 17, No. 18 and No. 19 will also operate on their usual routes.

At the same time, temporary detour schemes will be introduced for trolleybuses No. 3, No. 9, No. 13 and No. 15 in the direction of Kyivska Street through Bratslavska, Nansena and Kozyubynskoho Avenue.

A New Traffic Scheme Has Been Prepared for Drivers

Route taxis No. 5A, No. 10A, No. 23A and No. 28A will continue to operate unchanged in both directions.

Before the repair work begins, temporary road signs, information panels, and other traffic organization measures will be installed on the site. The scheme has been approved by the patrol police.

During peak traffic hours, an inspector-regulator will be on site. Drivers are urged to pay close attention to temporary signs and to plan their travel routes in advance.

Work on Soborna is part of the city's infrastructure renewal. Until the repairs are completed, traffic on a section of the central street will remain limited.
