In Vinnytsia, an 18-year-old student died under the wheels of a train: what is known about the tragedy

According to glavcom.ua: In Vinnytsia, on December 18, during the first hour of the night at the railway station, a tragedy occurred. An 18-year-old girl found herself under the wheels of a passenger train. This was reported by the publication 'Glavkom' citing the police of the Vinnytsia region.

According to preliminary data, a resident of the Khmelnytsky region who was studying in Vinnytsia became a victim of this tragedy. The girl died at the scene from her injuries.

The cause of the tragedy is being investigated

Currently, law enforcement is conducting an investigation into this fact in accordance with the Criminal Code of Ukraine. So far, all circumstances and causes of this incident are being clarified.

It is noted that on November 15, around three o'clock in the morning, a freight train moving from the direction of the 'Vinnytsia' station to Zhmerynka hit a person on Pryvokzalna Street. As a result of the injuries, the man died at the scene. Earlier in the Kyiv region, in Obukhiv, a man was also hit by a train, who died from his injuries.
