In the Zhmerinka district, soldiers died in a crash

According to glavcom.ua: On the morning of July 2, near the village of Korostovtsy in the Zhmerinka district, a road traffic accident occurred, resulting in fatalities. This was reported by 'Glavkom' referring to the Main Department of the National Police in Vinnytsia region.

According to preliminary investigation information, the driver of a Mitsubishi car lost control and went off the road, resulting in the car catching fire. The 43-year-old driver died at the scene, and his 40-year-old passenger passed away in the hospital.

The police note that investigators have opened a criminal case under part 2 of article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Violation of traffic safety rules or operation of vehicles by persons managing vehicles, which led to the death of the victim).

'Zhmerinska Gazeta' reports that the deceased were two defenders originally from the Zhmerinka community. Additionally, in the evening of July 1, another road traffic accident occurred in the village of Srednye in Transcarpathia, resulting in injuries to seven people. The investigation determined that the accident was caused by a 26-year-old female driver of a Volkswagen who did not consider the road situation when entering the main road.

The report on the road traffic accident near the village of Korostovtsy states that the incident resulted in the death of two people who were defenders from the Zhmerinka community. The tragedy once again reminds us of the importance of adhering to traffic rules and being cautious behind the wheel to avoid similar tragic incidents.
