In the village of Sasiv, Zolochiv district of Lviv region, the territorial recruitment center mobilized a man who was taking care of his father, who is bedridden. Now he has been left without care. This was reported by Glavkom referring to hromadske.

According to journalists, Yosif Malitskyi was left alone in his home since his only son was mobilized. Consequently, now no one can take care of him. In addition, a large farm has also been left unattended, which requires attention and care.

Problems with documents

The document manager of the Zolochiv City Council, Vira Aleksandrovych, explained that the deferment from mobilization due to caring for his father lasted until August 6, but due to the reorganization of the social protection management, the term was not extended, which led to problems. Volodymyr Malitskyi is recommended to be discharged from service due to taking care of his father with a disability and submit the relevant documents.

Plans for the future

According to the draft resolution of the Verkhovna Rada regarding the work program of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the strengthening of mobilization and recruitment measures is planned for 2026. The government must ensure the stable fulfillment of planned indicators, including increasing the recruitment of citizens of Ukraine for military service, as well as foreigners.
