According to glavcom.ua: The number of deaths resulting from the Russian strike on Chernivtsi on July 12 has increased. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing the head of the Chernivtsi OVA, Ruslan Zaparanyak.

'Unfortunately, we have one more deceased as a result of the Russian strike on Chernivtsi on July 12. 74-year-old Vasyl Klypych, a resident of the town of Sniatyn, Ivano-Frankivsk region, died today in the hospital,' the message reads.

Zaparanyak added that doctors fought for the man's life for almost five days. However, due to the multiple shrapnel wounds he received, they could not save him.

'My deepest condolences to the family and close ones. Eternal and bright memory!' the head of the OVA emphasized.

Consequences of the tragedy

Let us remind you that as a result of the night attack by Russian forces on Chernivtsi on July 12, people died, another 14 were injured, and there were significant damages to civilian infrastructure.

The consequences of the attack were also recorded in the territory of the Storozhynets community, where as a result of an enemy drone strike, a residential building and a car were damaged. There were no casualties or injuries.

It is reported that as a result of the attack on Chernivtsi on July 12, another person died - 74-year-old Vasyl Klypych. Doctors tried to save him for five days, but he died from the received shrapnel wounds. The head of the Chernivtsi OVA expressed condolences to the family of the deceased.
