Moyo Electronics Warehouse Destroyed in Kyiv Attack

Kyiv Comes Under Heavy Fire on July 2, 2024

According to Главком: During the night of July 2, 2024, Russian forces launched a massive assault on Kyiv, completely leveling a warehouse belonging to the Moyo electronics and appliance retail chain. Company leadership confirmed the facility’s destruction but reported no casualties among staff. Across the capital, the attack struck 28 separate locations, with early estimates indicating 11 people killed and more than 30 wounded.

The Russian occupation army targeted Ukraine’s capital using drones, ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as hypersonic Zircon missiles. Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko provided updates on the numerous fatalities and injuries resulting from the bombardment.

Moyo’s Response to the Crisis

In reaction to the incident, Moyo’s management issued the following statement:

‘The most important thing is that our people are alive. There is a long road ahead. First, we deal with the aftermath. Then, we resume operations. We start from where we stand today. We lost our warehouse. But we did not lose our team, our faith, or our will to keep working.’ – Moyo Company Management

Moyo continues to accept new orders for items currently listed as available on its website. Customers who placed orders before the attack are asked to be patient while the company works through the disruption.
