Ukraine’s Defense Forces Execute Large-Scale Special Operation
According to ХВИЛЯ: Ukraine’s Defense Forces carried out a sweeping special operation targeting assets in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai and occupied Crimea. The mission involved strikes on strategic locations, with drones hitting the Port of Kavkaz, an oil depot in Kerch, and air defense systems positioned on the Crimean Bridge.
The operation was executed by:
- Special forces from the SBU’s Alpha Center for Special Operations,
- Unmanned Systems Forces,
- Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense,
- Special Operations Forces.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy issued the order for this special operation.
Strikes on Key Strategic Targets
At the Port of Kavkaz, drones hit the tank farm of an oil product transshipment facility, sparking a fire at the oil depot. In Kerch, the attack targeted fuel storage tanks at the TPP-Terminal-1 oil depot, a hub for transshipping fuel oil, liquefied gas, and light petroleum products.
Additionally, on the Crimean Bridge, four radar stations of the S-400 surface-to-air missile system and two Pantsir surface-to-air missile and gun systems were disabled. This operation is part of Ukraine’s broader efforts to bolster security and neutralize threats from the aggressor.
