Ukraine’s Defense Forces Target Russian Military Assets
According to Главком: On June 18 and overnight into June 19, Ukraine’s Defense Forces launched attacks on Russian military positions. These operations successfully struck several strategic targets, including railway bridges in Crimea, concentrations of equipment in Sievierodonetsk, and facilities at the Moscow Oil Refinery.
Key Sites Hit
Among the primary targets were railway bridges near Rozdolne and Vladyslavivka in the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea. Additionally, a concentration of enemy weapons and military hardware was hit in Sievierodonetsk, Luhansk region. In Mariupol, Donetsk region, a storage facility for fuel and lubricants was damaged.
Furthermore, Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck drone command and control centers in the following areas:
- Pokrovsk
- Voskresenka
- Siversk, Donetsk region
- Novoivanivka, Zaporizhzhia region
- Maliivka, Dnipropetrovsk region
Of particular note is the strike on the Moscow Oil Refinery, where damage was confirmed to a complex oil processing unit, three RVS-10000 tanks, and one RVS-30000 tank. According to the General Staff,
“the facility has halted oil refining indefinitely”
. This marks the second attack on the Moscow Oil Refinery within the past week.
On the night of June 18, a drone assault on Moscow was also recorded, with over 180 drones launched toward the city. These events highlight the intensification of Ukrainian operations against Russian military infrastructure.
These strikes underscore the ongoing active hostilities between Ukraine and Russia, as well as the growing effectiveness of Ukraine’s armed forces in executing strategic missions.
