Attack on the Polish factory in Vinnytsia. Warsaw summoned the Russian diplomat 'to the carpet'
According to glavcom.ua: The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs invited a representative of the Russian embassy after the shelling of a Polish company’s facility in Vinnytsia. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing the press service of the Polish department.
The Polish MFA stated that the attack on the Barlinek factory in Vinnytsia, which is owned by Polish business and exclusively deals with civilian production, is a violation of international law. Russian military intentionally targeted the facility, as the shelling was conducted from three directions.
Barlinek Group: well-known parquet manufacturer
As a result of the Russian shelling on July 16, the Barlinek Group's facility was damaged. This company is a well-known manufacturer of multilayer wooden floors, whose products are in demand worldwide. Hungary has also begun diplomatic disputes with Poland due to the incident in Vinnytsia.
The incident with the shelling of the factory took place in Vinnytsia, leading to a deterioration of relations between Russia and Poland, as well as between Poland and Hungary. Poland considers the attack a violation of international law, which may affect intergovernmental relations in the region.
